My art shows the planes going to bomb pearl harbor and bombs falling down into the water and explosion's and a ship, The pearl harbor harbor essential lesson inspired my art piece because of all the explosion's that happened its political self-interests, its scarcity of economic resources. I chose this topic because I found interesting That the attack of pearl harbor only lasted 1 hour and 15 minuets and the defenders didn't even know where the shots were coming from. Japanese aircraft had 67 ships and 6 heavy aircraft carriers. My art connects to the historical time period because due to the attack at pearl harbor the U.S was led to entering WWII. On December 8 the US declared war with Japan because they could no longer avoid an active fight. The day before USS took a full load of nearly 1.5 million gallons of fuel and that's what helped them with their explosion's for the attack. This is telling the audience that that attack was important because the US fought for our country and people lost their lives to try to save the country. I hope people learn that we should treat everyone the same because after pearl harbor we treated Japanese American's like enemies just because they look a certain way. We should care about this time in era because the wwII was the most dangerous and brutal fight that the American's had to fought.
